At Toho Gakuen School of Music

As of April 1, 2024, I have been appointed as a part-time lecturer at Toho Gakuen School of Music, Toho Girls' High School Music Department (co-ed), and Toho Gakuen School of Music Graduate School.

On March 30th, I returned to Japan permanently from Germany and Switzerland, where I had stayed for eight and a half years since September 2015.

It is a great pleasure to have the opportunity to teach at Toho Gakuen, where I have studied for a long time, from music classes for children to university.

Based on my own experiences, I have a lot of thoughts about children's early education as well as education during their high school and college years.

I hope to be able to share some of my own experiences with the younger generation.

The university and graduate school entrance ceremonies are on April 2nd, and the high school entrance ceremony is on April 6th.

We would like to offer our heartfelt congratulations to all the new students on their new beginnings.

Although the birthrate is declining and the classical music industry itself is in a precarious position, we hope to continue working to improve classical music education and to develop connections between classical music and society.
